This comprehensive LASIK platform features:
WaveLight EX500 Excimer Laser (WaveLight/Alcon) – a leading excimer laser for refractive surgery with a 500 Hz pulse rate, advanced 1050 Hz eye-tracking and wavefront-optimized/topography-guided treatment options for very precise, predictable visual outcomes while maintaining corneal shape.
IntraLase femtosecond laser (Johnson & Johnson) – a blade-free femtosecond laser for creating uniform corneal flaps with high precision, faster healing and reduced complications ahead of the excimer ablation.
Custom automatic patient bed – integrated bed moves between lasers, eliminating the need for patient repositioning and optimizing comfort and procedural accuracy.
Power backup system – ensures continuous, stable power supply to both femto and excimer lasers to guarantee uninterrupted procedures.
Server & planning workstation – a secure closed network server for handling topography and treatment data, with two laptops for treatment planning.
Allegro topography system integrated with the server – high-resolution corneal maps used for topography-guided treatments and customized surgical planning.
The system has been housed in controlled environment rooms, used by only two surgeons, and maintained with regular service. The latest IntraLase service included several component upgrades with a parts replacement list available. Equipment is in excellent condition and ready for immediate clinical deployment.
