The company – celebrating 45 years in 2026!

Medicolle is a Nordic medical technology company specialising in ophthalmology and optometry. Medicolle was founded in 1981 in Stockholm, where its Nordic headquarters are based. The company name is derived from Medical collection. The company now has over 40 years’ experience working in ophthalmology and optometry. We represent many of the world’s leading manufacturers of medical devices in these fields.

Right from the start, the aim was to represent, market and sell high-quality, technically innovative products for ophthalmology and optometry from leading international manufacturers. Our high-quality products, support, expert technical service and high standards of service form the basis of our commitment to eye care. Our collaboration with eye care professionals is driven by the shared goal of delivering the best possible care and, consequently, improved vision.

Since its inception in 1981, Medicolle has grown and evolved in step with developments in ophthalmology and optometry. This growth has been made possible in part by the rapid technological advancements within our industry. By offering our customers new, sophisticated medical devices, Medicolle has contributed to better eye care. Rapid technological advances result in new, improved instruments, and our role as a product supplier, trainer and problem-solver is just as important today as it was at the outset.

Medicolle is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
